HAKA from the Whanau, filmed by Culainn. Commentary by Culainn

This haka is about some of the Maori gods and what they control. Tanemahuta is the god of the forestry, Tawhirimatea is the god of the wind, Tumatauenga is the god of war and man, Tangaroa is the god of the ocean. They are the the main gods in this haka. Near the end there are lower gods like Rongomatane, Haumietikitiki, Ruomoko and koropupu and there is one very high god Io Matua Kore [the creator]

The actions show the significance of the Maori gods in this haka.

An excellent, mature commentary Culainn, and good use of the camera too.
